The basics

Each week, pick one NFL team you think will win its game. Point spreads don't matter — a win is a win.
If your team wins, you move on. If your team loses, you're out for the rest of the season.
You can only use each team once all season. Once you've picked a team, it's gone for you.
The pool runs through the Super Bowl. The last person standing wins. If more than one person survives to the end, they share it.

There's no weekly deadline. You can pick any team whose game hasn't started yet — a Thursday team until Thursday kickoff, a Monday night team until Monday kickoff.
A team locks the moment its game kicks off. Once it's locked, nobody can pick it or change to it.
Weeks run Tuesday through Monday, just like the NFL's. Week 1 is Tuesday, September 8 through Monday, September 14.

Until a game kicks off, the site shows only who has picked this week — never which team.
The moment a game starts, the picks on it become visible to everyone, with the live score. You can see who has a stake in a game, and since the game is locked, nobody can copy anyone.
After the week's last game, the full results — wins, losses, and who's out — are posted.

Miss a week without submitting a pick and you're eliminated, the same as a loss.
A tie counts as surviving — you move on to the next week.
If every remaining player loses in the same week, nobody is eliminated that week.
If a game is postponed, any pick on either team is released: it doesn't count as your pick, and the team is still available to you later. You can pick again from any game that hasn't started. If you don't, you survive the week.
Results post automatically a few minutes after the week's last game ends — usually Monday night.

Enter your name and choose your team. You'll see a confirmation screen before it counts.
Picks are final once confirmed. There is no changing your mind, so read the confirmation carefully.
Choose your name from the list each week — unless it's your first time, in which case pick “I'm new” and type it.
Been sending your picks by text? Just enter your name here from now on. The admins keep your earlier picks on file, so the teams you've already used still count as used.
The admins may close entries to brand-new players later in the season; you'll see a note on the form if so.
Your pick is hidden from everyone but the admins until its game kicks off.
